Powering Mobile Device by Walking

The great information came from scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Informed through voa news, they have tried to turns human motion into electricity.

They have developed how to power mobile device-like laptop or GPS system by walking. The question now is that how it will work. The scientist explained that an energy harvester is put in the shoe. The harvester itself consists of two small chambers which contains liquid mini-droplets pushed when we walk. The fluids flow through plastic tubes which convert the energy into electric power in a very small battery.

The system does not use any wires, It uses low power energy like Bluetooth. So, the performance of the shoe will be the same as it is in its usual function for walk.

The benefit of using this kind of power system is to reduce power consumption. Besides, it can be used in the place where there is no traditional battery available.

This product will be produced for market within two years.
