Quoted from CNN, Sony announced to release the PlayStation Vita on February 22,2012 in the United States, Canada, and Europe. While, it will first hit stores in Japan at December 17.
The PlayStation Vita is a portable video game player. It has touch screen and a touch-sensitive pad along with the buttons and control stick gamers expect to see on the controllers. The PlayStation Vita will be available in two versions, namely a version with 3Gand without 3G.
Sony announced the price for PlayStation Vita in two different costs. A version of Vita that connects to the web via Wi-Fi will be costing $250, while a version that has 3G wireless data connectivity will be about $300.
