The World's Cheapest Computer Tablet


In the beginning of this month, October 2011, India has launched a tablet computer which is claimed as the World’s Cheapest Computer. The name of the tablet itself is called “Aakash” which means “sky” in Hindi Language.
The purpose of its launching is to help students from low- economic level to get in touch with the digital world easily, so that the improvement of the generation is hopefully achieved.
Since it is as the World’s Cheapest Computer Tablet, the price offered is $45. While, subsidized price for students is $35.
Manufactured by DataWind, this gadget has a 7"Android 2.2 touch screen, HD video co-processor, Wi-Fi connectivity, two USB ports, and the other applications which support word processing, browsing, and video-conferencing.
